Description

The Chelada apparently has many variations.  This is my first foray into mixing one up.  I was actually looking for a Budweiser Chelada, but it appears that this is not prime Chelada territory. So I've decided to whip up my own version.

Ingredients

  • 1

    lime
  • 5
    ds
    worcestershire sauce
  • 5
    ds
    tabasco sauce
  • 12
    oz
    mexican beer
  • 3
    oz
    clamato juice

Instructions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Pour in the Clamato Juice, squeeze in the lime, add worcestershire sauce and Tabasco. Shake till chilled. Pour into a 16 oz beer glass. Pour the Mexican beer into the glass. Add salt, pepper or old bay to your liking.

Notes

I actually prefer a bit more heat in mine, so I add 10 dashes of Tabasco. And, you saw it here first... the Bacon Chelada. Add a crispy strip of bacon as a garnish.
