More INR Tests

Got my INR results.  1.8  Now I'm supposed to take 7.5 one day and 10 the next.  Alternating days.  While I'm happy with 1.8, the goal is supposed to be at least 2.  I still can't wait to be off this crap.  Having another ultrasound done on the 15th.  If the clot is cleared up, I may just quit taking it.

In other news, I get to keep my office at work.  People said I should be happy.  But why?  Because I didn't lose something I already had?  Because they threatened to take away the work area that I pretty much need to do my job and had to fight and kick and scream to keep it?  I'm annoyed that I had to go through all that for the good of the college.  If I don't have a space to set up my equipment and the power to run it, lots of network stuff at the college would not get done.  So the people in charge attempt to do something bad for the college, and I have to kick and scream and end up looking like the bad guy because for some stupid reason I actually give a crap.  But then if I didn't, and was unable to do my job.. who do you think would get the blame.  Sheesh.  I'm now doing research into getting our own IP block from ARIN.. (though my boss says it's IANA, which is wrong) in order to have multi-path redundant links to and from the net and will have to set up multiple BGP routers and do some experimentation before putting the plan into action.  And guess what I'm going to need...yep, space to set up routers, switches, firewalls and servers to emulate our network.   So why do we need redundant links?  While our current internet provider, TWR is cheap, the microwave link we have has been rather unreliable.  But that's another rant.. Ok.. rant off.
